Green Change Exhibit:
Fun activities to help you go green
Check out the Green Change Exhibit, a unique climate action center that we created to help people live sustainably.
Our family-friendly exhibit features a big earth globe, fun games for all ages, and information about going green. Our playful activities help people learn about climate action, clean energy, electric vehicles, green homes and gardens, healthy food, and resilient communities.
Over the years, we have brought our travelling exhibit to a variety of local events, from Earth Day Marin to the Fairfax Eco-Fest and Ember Stomp. In 2024, we hosted our exhibit in 5 large events, helping over 1,000 visitors learn about going green. And we collected nearly 100 green pledges about climate actions they plan to take in their own lives!
This popular exhibit was produced by Green Change, our nonprofit climate action network, and a project of Sustainable Marin.
Many thanks to all our participants, creators, volunteers and partners for taking action for a more sustainable world! Special thanks to the County of Marin, the Marin Community Foundation and MCE for sponsoring our exhibit this year!

IMPACT
Here were the main outcomes of our Green Change Exhibit in 2024:
-
5 public events featured our climate action exhibit
-
1,000+ visitors learned about going green through our exhibit
-
100+ participants made a green pledge to take climate action
We engaged over a thousand participants of all ages and backgrounds, from across Marin and the Bay Area.
We inspired them to take climate action in their own lives, grew our community of climate champions, made young people feel part of our movement, and promoted our partners.
Participants learned about many ways to go green with clean energy, bikes, electric vehicles, green homes, healthy food climate justice, and young activists!
And we took photos of over a hundred green pledges about actions that people told us they plan to take in the coming year!
We are grateful to all our participants for sharing our positive vision of building a more just and sustainable world, through action!
Special thanks to our sponsors! We are grateful to the County of Marin, the Marin Community Foundation and MCE for sponsoring our Green Change Exhibit this year.

Green Pledges
Make a pledge to take climate action this year.
What will you do to go green this year? Can you make a Green Pledge to take one climate action to cool the earth? Write it down in big letters, and the Green Change team will take your photo in front of our big earth globe. We will post it on our site and invite you to share it and inspire more people in your community to take climate action! See some of the pledges people have made already.

Anytown USA
Create your own sustainable town in a fun environmental game.
Help transform a polluted sprawl into a sustainable town, in a race against time to end our climate crisis before it’s too late.
To reduce global warming, players have to green up their homes, green up their towns and help cool the earth. This fun challenge invites you to replace problems that harm our lives with sustainable solutions.
In this fast-paced matching game, you must find the right solution for each problem, in categories like energy, food, transportation or land use.

Human Triangle
Collaborate with other players to move the Earth to a better place.
In this fun cooperation game, 3 players have to work together to pull the Earth from the pit of despair and lift it up to a better place.
It’s a great way to develop your collaboration skills and have fun at the same time!

Climate Jenga
Transform our energy system to avert collapse!
Climate Jenga is based on the iconic party game, Jenga. In Jenga, players take turns pulling out wood blocks one by one from a stack until the whole stack crashes down. In Climate Jenga, this game dynamic is presented as a metaphor for human-caused climate change.
Players discover that fossil fuel use in the game leads to the removal of blocks, resulting in the stack becoming increasingly unstable. Players must solve the climate challenge before the tower comes crashing down!

Stop, Drop & Roll
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
Stop, Drop & Roll is a bean bag tossing game, in which players attempt to land bean bags in six different target zones.
If a player misses the target zones, then a hazard is created, imperiling future play. Players can eliminate a hazard, but must sacrifice a toss in order to do so.
The game highlights the root causes of ecological overshoot, the risks of climate change, and the relationship between.

Earth Island Home
Draw your own dream home on Earth Island!
This fun art activity for children of all ages empowers children to imagine a better world.
We will help you draw a place where you can live safely with your friends and family, in harmony with nature. First draw an island, then your house, with friends and animals. You will then add electricity and water, with safe places for your trees and wood, to make your home Earth-friendly and fire-safe.
