Speak up at political rallies

Would you like to raise awareness about political and climate action? Join a political rally and give your concerns a megaphone.

These gatherings let you amplify your message alongside a community of people who also care deeply about your cause – whether it’s democracy, climate change, or social injustice. 

I invite you to sign up for upcoming rallies promoted by national groups such as: Indivisible, 50501, Mobilize, No Kings, Sunrise, 350.org, Women’s March and many more. If you live in the Bay Area, we encourage you to join events promoted by our partners at the Bay Area Coalition and Indivisible Marin.

We recently joined the No Kings rally in San Rafael, where 6,000 peaceful protesters came to defend democracy. It was truly inspiring, as you can see in our videos and photos of that inspiring event. We spoke up against Trump’s abuses of power, learned about actions we can take, and energized our local movement.  

Rallies shine a spotlight on important causes. Demonstrating in the streets, at a business, or on the capitol steps allows others to see what is important to you and can motivate them to take action. Plus the media loves to cover rallies, bringing more exposure to your cause.

And the collective energy that comes from being with like-minded people can feel empowering and uplifting, reminding you that you are not alone.

If there isn’t a rally near you, consider hosting your own event. Many of the organizations listed above offer toolkits to help you plan your event. Not only will you have fun, but you will build valuable skills at the same time – and all for a cause that you are passionate about.
