Join a phone bank

Would you like to help people vote for democracy and climate in upcoming elections?

Join a phone or text bank, to help folks register and cast their votes. 

Research shows that calling voters is one of the most effective ways to get out the vote! 

I have enjoyed reaching out to voters across America thorough phone banking in recent years. Many voters have told me that my call made a difference for them, and it has been a fulfilling experience to support other Americans, outside of my usual circles. 

So I invite you to sign up for a phone bank – and recommend these organizations: 

• 350 Bay Area Action / Activate America

• Democracy Action / Bay Area Coalition

• Environmental Voter Project

• Indivisible Marin

• Swing Left / Sister District

To find phone banks by date or type, visit Mobilize or NorCal Blue, which list voter outreach events from many organizers in the Bay Area and beyond. 

Most phone banks are virtual events using Zoom, so you can call from home, working with coaches and peers who can help you along the way.
