Support regenerative agriculture

By Bridget Mazzini, Green Change

Farmers are standing on a pot of gold that could help solve our climate crisis.

The ground beneath us is a gigantic carbon storage unit. Properly managed, soil draws carbon out of the atmosphere and puts it to work to enrich the soil and produce better food.

Regenerative farming practices heal and improve our soil, restoring biodiversity underfoot while helping to cool the planet by drawing carbon out of the atmosphere. By relying on nature-based methods of land management, regenerative agriculture builds richer soil and healthier, more nutrient-rich food. Even livestock play an important role in regenerative land management, giving us hope that we can enjoy responsibly farmed meat products.

You don’t have to buy a ranch to invest in regenerative agriculture this exciting climate solution. Help small farmers produce more climate-friendly and nutritious food products by purchasing products from farms that rely on nature-based practices. Invest in community food production. Learn more about how you can take steps to support regenerative agriculture. Help provide capital to regenerative farmers. Plant a climate victory garden
